Goddess of peace Irene noted that men left their women alone, lonely, and perhaps childless, to fight and die gloriously in war. So she decided to eliminate all strife, and sought Apollo, who agreed to help her.
They decided to operate from the most peaceful nation, Switzerland. They occupied a broad valley. Apollo devised more than 100 spacecraft, powered electronically, capable of
1) A maximum speed of 50,000 mph,
2) The ability to neutralize all arms and ammunition,
3) The ability to transport 50 people.
They trained young Swiss men and women to operate the spacecraft safely. Whenever any country invaded its neighbor, the spacecraft immediately went into action, neutralized all arms and ammunition and transported the men to their homes. They also arrested the leaders and took them to the panel of judges in the world court at Den Hague, to try and punish them.
Irene advised all women to make a love nest for the men, so that when they left they would always come back to happy homes and heart[h]s.
