Gen. Stanley A. McChrystal needs a shakedown. His behavior towards elected officials and other senior administration personnel is an insult to the American public. The American public democratically elected President Obama, Vice-President Biden and several other officials, who in turn then appointed the many senior administration officials. The General's public comments are an affront to the American public. We the American public and our President and other officials publicly and consistently recognize the troops and their service to the nation day in and day out and we must. However, the General's contemptuous and mean comments are dangerous to democracy and our democratic principles. Our President, Mr. Barack Obama, has been called no drama, Obama. While there is no need to create a drama over this and I am certain the President will not, I strongly urge our President to dismiss General McChrystal from his duties, if for nothing else than to preserve democracy and democratic principles. The military is and will always be subservient to the democratically elected civilian government and such loose lips from a senior military commander and his close aides can be much detrimental to democracy.
